Heels is an upcoming tv drama starring Stephen Amell of Arrow fame. Heels is about two brothers who are both professional wrestlers. They are about to have a storyline feud where one plays the heel and the other plays the babyface. After playing a Superhero for 8 seasons of Arrow, this will be Amell’s first new role on tv. Even if the show is scripted, I hope there will be well-choreographed wrestling matches. I get to see some familiar faces from Wrestling who starred on this show as support characters.
What is a Heel? A Heel is a professional wrestler who plays the villain role in storylines. Some of the most iconic heels in Wrestling are Rick Flair, Ted Dibiase, and Vince Mcmahon. Their job is to make people hate them and make them scream boo. They have to be hateable so the crowd will love the babyface. A Babyface is a wrestler that the audience root for. Some of the biggest Babyfaces are John Cena, The Rock, and Hulk Hogan. Most Wrestlers get to play both roles at a certain point in their careers while others stick with their lane.
Heels will show the struggle of Independent wrestlers who are not yet signed on to a major Wrestling company.

For the longest time, there were only two professional wrestling leagues: WWE and WCW. There have been halfhearted attempts to start a third (do I have to remind people ECW existed? I’d prefer not to), but nothing really clicked until 2018, when wrestlers Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks (Matt
