Microsoft Boss Phil Spencer told Gamespot while on the topic of Kinect that “As a first party we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games […] even games like Halo Anniversary has [sic] Kinect integration.”
This made me a little worried about my most beloved game, but shortly thereafter a Halo Waypoint forum admin by the name of ‘bs angel’ stepped in and had this to say about Kinect integration in Halo Anniversary
“Just to let everybody know, the Kinect features we’re exploring with Halo: Anniversary are optional and won’t affect your core gameplay experience. Our mission, from day one, has been to deliver a faithful recreation of the original game, and we remain dedicated to seeing that through to completion.”
I for one have calmed down just a little after hearing this news. But this also raises the question what kind of Kinect integration are we getting here? I certainty don’t want to be flailing my arms about hoping to melee something when caught face to face with an bloodthirsty elite. What about you?
