Greywood’s Plot Comes September 16 To VOD
Terror Films has announced it’s distributing the indie comedy horror flick Greywood’s Plot on digital platforms next month.
Meet Dominic, a struggling paranormal blogger desperate for attention when he uncovers a lead that could make his career. He’s found footage of what appears to be a monster thought to be myth, so what can he and his friend Miles do but venture down to where the footage was shot and try to discover it themselves. They don’t immediately find the creature, but they DO meet something just as weird: the land owner, Doug Greywood. What Greywood knows isn’t immediately apparent, but Dominic and Miles will soon have to rely on each other to survive.
Greywood’s Plot is described as “a labor of love, sending four real life friends into the wilderness of northern Minnesota to film a no budget 1950’s creature feature.” The film is actually in black and white, something you don’t see too often anymore. Josh Stifter directed it, plays one of the lead characters (alongside Daniel Degnan, Keith Radichel, and Nathan Strauss) and wrote the script with Strauss.
Look for Greywood’s Plot on VOD platforms September 16.
A struggling paranormal blogger named Dominic is on the verge of ending things forever, when a mysterious package arrives on his doorstep and changes his life…A rare sighting of a classic cryptid caught on tape sends Dom and his best friend Miles on a road trip to find the fabled creature — and repair a fractured friendship along the way. Their half-baked journey leads them to a plot of land owned by an eccentric recluse by the name of Doug Greywood.

Don’t let the low budget of this Canadian film discourage you from watching. I enjoyed watching it despite of all the limitations. Give indie movies a chance people!

How can I describe this movie when I watched it. A cryptozoologist tried to debunk a found footage video of a monster by going to the location. That premise makes a great horror movie. It is like Blair Witch Project but you can see the monsters.

I can only say that this movie is an excellent example of the strength of friendship and passion. The cast and crew are just a group of friends who tried to make this movie happen with all the limited resources them have. The screenplay’s genius author deserves a big break in the future, and I hope that person does. Think of these people as having a large budget.
