Lazy Bear Games released Graveyard Keeper last August. Described by them as “the most inaccurate medieval cemetery sim of the year,” you must build and manage a graveyard from the middle ages while “facing ethical dilemmas and making questionable decisions.” Problem was, there weren’t enough questionable decisions. Now there are plenty.
The Breaking Dead DLC has hit Graveyard Keeper. With it, you’ll gain the power of Resurrection, which will let you raise an army of zombies to do your chores for you. With all the new free time, you’ll be able to dawdle around in the village, romance a few ladies, make more business arrangements and explore more dungeons.
- Automate gathering of stone, wood, and have zombies craft your items
- Taking care of your graveyard’s garden has never been easier when zombies do it for you
- Create logistics chains where zombies automate sale of merchandise, for extra profit
- Modify and upgrade your zombies (they might need better organs) to make them more efficient
So how do you get Breaking Dead? Like the Graveyard Keeper, you get it by doing nothing. This DLC will automatically install itself, and it won’t cost you a dime. It’s “a way to thank our friends on Steam,” says the dev team.
And if you don’t have Graveyard Keeper yet, it’s on sale. The game is currently 25% off on Steam, at a price of $14.99.
