I don't think this will be in continuity with DCAU.
Neither do I. The new DC Animated films have always been standalone (just like the "Millennium Series" Godzilla films), which is what I like about them. They don't get strangled by Byzantine continuity, the PG-13 rating allows the producers to take the characters to some new areas, and each character is allowed to take the center stage. (Don't get me wrong, though, I still
love Justice League (Unlimited), but not all characters' treatments was necessarily the best.)
The Superman from
Superman: Doomsday is probably my favorite Superman in the DCAU, more so than the
JL(U) one. This Superman was allowed to be smart and charming, and Adam Baldwin pretty much nailed the character. I also liked the sleek colors on his costume, and wasn't really bothered by the cheekbone lines. The Superman from
Justice League: The New Frontier (my favorite of the bunch) wasn't half-bad, either! A great representation of the Golden-Age Superman. (Then again, anything Darwyn Cooke has done is cool!)
Other than that, this new
Wonder Woman film looks quite exciting! So far, I'm really impressed, though I hope to see a better trailer sometime! Her new look is quite good.
