What kind of new, newer video card that you can recommend?

Currently, I'm in the hunt to find brand new video card that supports 1080p HD this time around. I want to be sure that I can be worry free once I got right video card.

So, what do you guys recommend???

any current videocard (512mb at least) can do 1080p at ease as long as you enable hardware accelerating.

No, I don't do videogame. And thanks for that. It's just that I'm HD junkie myself. Higher resolution would be that great on my PC. It's just that I don't have blu-ray installed on it.

I just preferred to watch blu-ray movies on my PC desktop with my HDTV. That's all.

If you're just watching movies, you don't need an all powerful GPU. The low end of Nvidia's GT400 series and ATI's Radeon HD 5000 series will do just fine for HD video only.
