For the 30th aniversary the plan is to record an English audio track for release of the Shout Factory edition of the Japanese Transformers Trilogy. (115 Episodes) This will cover Headmasters , Masterforce and Victory with new English opening sequences. The plan is to start in 2013 with Headmasters so if you guys want to join up first you need to upload video for Japanese Transformers. If somebody can pull this off perfect. Then we'll place the english audio over this. (If people can record for the series) This is a fan project to celebrate 30 years in 1984. The plan is to do one a year.

You do know that there's more to dubbing, than just swapping out voice tracks, right? You have to remove all of the audio, replacing the sound effects and music. Then there's the editing and syncing up of the voice tracks. On top of all that, you can't even do those things until you have a translated script. That script will then need to be rewritten to not sound horrible, because Japanese does not translate perfectly into English. I'm a part of two different Transformers fan dub projects, Beast Wars II and Headmasters. Both of these are going very slowly or are on hold at the moment, due to how time consuming they are. You will not be able to do an entire series within a year. At most, you can do one episode a month.
