To belt or not to belt, that's the question

Hi,

I know some of you guys own Kamen Rider DX Henshin belts and weapons and so on. I've never bought any of that but in light of my possible going to some conventions, I might buy something like that to cosplay (I know, I'm out of my mind but a friend talked me into it). Later I could display the belts and accessories with posters of the KR's the belonged to.

My question is: are these worth it? I'm mostly talking about:
KR Blade belts and weapons
KR Faiz belts and Faiz/Kaiza weapons
KR Ryuki belt & Dragvisor

I could buy each at about 15-20 USD shipping not included.

Also, to me it looks like the belts and weapons are too small. Does this pose a problem or do they look too much like a super-deformed joke?

If you're going for the DX belts, you'll need to mod them. Rider Faiz has a FAQ on how to mod Faiz and Blade belts. The Ryuki Drag Visor looks the right size but why go for that when you can get a kickass gun like Zolda's Magna Visor? :dance: But erm....I'd personally go for the Adult V-Buckle and an Ouja Visor really. But that's just me. Are you planning to get the DX Ryuki Belt? If so, don't! They're ****. My mate got one and he's trying to send it back to HLJ, we're both saving up for Adult V-Buckles. I got him into Kamen Rider and the bastard beat me to the complete Ryuki set. His fave is Knight.

Also, unless you know somewhere where you can buy a belt for $20, good luck with finding one for THAT price! They all go for over $50.

I've already found the DX belts for 20 USD eahc but my main concern was the quality of the product. So if I understand you, the Ryuki is to be avoided and the faiz and Blade are OK but need to be modded.

The adult sized belts look great but I'm afraid they're a bit out of my league (translation: my girlfriend will never go for it :redface2: )

Can you show me a picture of them all please so I know like which Ryuki one you're going on about?

For Blade I had these in mind:
Blade Buckel
Blade Rouser
King Rouser

Wild Slasher
Arrow
Gallen Buckel
Gallen Rouser
and maybe also the Trump box to add some cards:
Cardass Trump box

It might take some work, but it's worth it.

I'm thinking about modding my Hibiki and Ryuki belts.

From what I've seen of the DX Ryuki Belt, it's kinda worth getting but does it come with any cards? Also, the Adult version can fit you without modding it, comes with all 13 die-cast metal decks and all 82 cards. That's sword vent, final vent, strike vent, guard vent, advent for almost every Rider and also the Survive cards! If you want a Faiz belt with an awesome voice, get the Kaixa gear. So awesome with a sliding phone instead of opening it normally. It has an evil voice too. :evil3: Or get the Delta gear, that's awesome too. I personally would go for the Garren Belt for Blade but if you're a Blade fan and wanna go King Form, get the Blade belt. First ever Rider henshin device I wanna get has to be one from Hibiki! I'll get most likely Hibiki or Todoroki's device and a couple of disc animals.

a) the adult sized belts also have voices or not?
b) for the blade belts/rousers (Chalice and Blade being my favs), do they have voices for all their attacks when you slide the correct cards in it?

Yeah. Well the only adult belt that they made for Faiz was the Faiz belt and that's not show accurate but has a die-cast buckle and it comes with a pointer and shot. They have no sounds though. The Blade and Garren Buckles say "Turn up" like the do in the show as Chalice says "Change" and Leangle says "Open Up." Only the Rouser's say the names of the attacks and that's only if they're from their suit but I've heard Chalice's deck works on Blade's Rouser. Weird. They don't say the combo either so if you do "Kick. Slash. Thunder" it WON'T say "Lightning Blast" or if you do Garren's "Drop. Fire. Gemini" it won't say the combo, which I forgot what it is. XD But it WILL say the voices of the attacks. Plus the Rouser says "Fusion Jack" and "Evolution King" as well as the King Rouser saying "10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace. Royal Straight Flush!" But I'm more interested in the Hibiki devices as I am loving it really. Heh. In my honest final opinion, if you're only getting one thing I'd say for you to get either the Kaixa belt or the Chalice Rouser. Or if you're getting a weapon too get the Garren Buckle and Rouser. And that's the 2 cents.

It's actually a LOT smaller than what's on the show...I mean I was suprised at how small it was!

The Blay Gun is REALLY scaled down as far as the show prop is concerned. And it's not just the blade part of the gun, but the 'X' part as well.

I don't have the Faiz Pointer, but I have the Kaixa Pointer, and it's pretty show accurate in terms of size.

As far as the Blade Belts, they're pretty show accurate in terms of size and what they do. The Rousers on the other hand are scaled down versions...espectially Leangle's Rouser & the King Rouser. But both are cool toys none the less.

Not entirely true. The rousers WILL indeed say the combo attack name...you just have to press whatever trigger button on the rouser for it. So while the Rouser won't say the combo attack automaticly, it can say it. The only exception to this is the King Rouser which will say the combo attack after it scans the cards.
