Hm... he looks like Shocker potential. I hope they don't pass up the chance to knock it outta the park for the hird movie and do Venom.... and actually, I was hoping Venom would be John Jameson... smitten over Peter taking his wife to be, he'd be perfect for a throwdown and love triangled goodness.

Can we get Keith here on the ideas committee for Spider-Man movies? I'd *seriously* love to see the film he's describing.

I have to admit the Shocker would be a good choice, but for some reason, I'm thinking Church might be playing Curt Connors, aka, the Lizard.

John Jameson is Venom in the cartoon and comics. Dr Connors may have been in the second movie but hey, Spider-man is signed up for 7 movies. I think. In the comics and cartoon, Dr Connors uses lizard DNA to regenerate his arm but mutates him into the lizard. I'm hoping we see Mysterio and the Vulture. Mysterio is THE villain for Spiderman! XD

They're signed up for six, not seven, and Jameson was NEVER Venom in the comics. Ever. I'd prefer they wait another movie to do Venom, since they've set up the Lizard and the movies aren't quite good enough (although they're slowly getting better) to do Venom right yet. By four they should be.

And for the sixth, they need to just bring 'em all back and do the Sinister Six.
