It's one of my top 3, I think that pretty much speaks for itself.
...well in case it doesn't  , it's great, and another of the undervalued ones. It's fascinating to see how it goes from being potential remake to sequel. Skyrider's cool and I don't mind the flying thing that people always moan about. Flying effects almost always look crappy in Kamen Rider, so I can't see how these are so bad. Besides, Skyrider's real special power is in crashing through walls on his bike (the first one to really make a regular habit out of it), but I think Crashrider doesn't sound as dynamic.
Most of all, it is insane. Especially once it gets into the late 20's, there are some episodes that are completely bonkers. The movie alone is the work of drugs, but it's great. It's not the most thought-provoking show, but not everything needs to be Agito. Sometimes good storytelling is as simple as having a gorilla that jumps out of the trees and smashes jeeps team up with an octopus to fight V3.
There's some cool arcs. There's a stretch of episodes featuring old Riders guest appearing, and almost everyone shows up throughout the series, either solo or in the big Rider get-togethers. What's more, they're actually important to helping Skyrider win. It's kinda like a great grandaddy of Decade. There's the Ghost Story arc, which everyone thinks is in Super-1 for some reason. There's a three-episode linked story dealing with a monster whose whole purpose is to kick Skyrider's butt, and I love the idea of a worldwide organization putting everything on hold just to take down one guy. There's what I call the Ichimonji Wars, which isn't really an arc other than the fact that they are all linked by having Sasaki Takeshi show up and wreck ****. But sometimes, that's all you need.
And without spoiling it, the end is surprisingly poignant. There's a nice twist to it and the final battle's cool. It's not Stronger's ending, but I like it.
It's a great little show that aims low, but scores high.
