The Most Underrated Animated Gems of the Last Decade

With so many animated shows and films coming out in the past ten years, it's easy for some to fly under the radar while others get all the spotlight. I’m talking about those hidden gems that you’ve probably watched but don’t see enough chatter about.

For me, "The Dragon Prince" deserves way more love! The world-building is phenomenal, and it tackles some deep themes about legacy, friendship, and conflict. Plus, the animation style is really unique compared to what's popular right now. Also, can we discuss "Tuca & Bertie"? It's such a vibrant, funny take on adult friendships, yet it seems to get overshadowed by more mainstream animated shows.

What about you all? What are some animated works from the last decade that you think deserve more recognition? Let’s shine a light on those underrated masterpieces!

I totally agree about "The Dragon Prince"! The character development is so well done, especially with characters like Zym and Rayla. The animation has this beautiful blend of 3D and 2D that really gives it a unique vibe. I'm surprised it doesn't get more recognition when shows with less depth get all the buzz.

And don’t even get me started on "Tuca & Bertie"! It’s such a breath of fresh air and has some of the most creative visual storytelling I’ve seen in a while. The way it tackles mental health with humor really resonates.

One show I think deserves more love is "Infinity Train." Each season offers such a different vibe and emotional depth, and the animation is just stunning. It really deserves its place among the better-known titles. What do you think makes a show like "The Dragon Prince" resonate more with some audiences but not others?
