I'm going to be dissapointed if Slumdog wins the Oscar for Best Picture. It was a good movie and all, but it was also too "safe". It was a nice modern day fairy tale but didn't really leave much to think about, didn't really do anything different (except for the setup). If I really had to choose I'd rather give it to Benjamin Button or Revolutionary Road, my personal favorite would have to be Gran Torino though.

dark knight outdid them all but wont be recognize since it is a comic book hero flick....
