Six (6) Korean Dramas of 2023 For Your Netflix Watchlist

Doctor Cha is an absolute gem. Uhm Jung-Hwa's portrayal of Cha Jeong-suk is a rollercoaster of emotions. Her journey from a housewife to a determined doctor battling personal setbacks is both inspiring and relatable. The supporting characters add a perfect blend of charm and wit. The camaraderie among the cast is heartwarming. If you haven't started it yet, buckle up for an emotional ride with doses of laughter. Trust me; it's worth every second.

Doona! hits close to home for anyone who's faced betrayal and adversity. Bae Suzy's portrayal of Lee Doo-Na is raw and authentic. The series sheds light on the dark side of the K-pop industry and the toll it takes on its stars. The friendship that blooms between Doo-Na and Lee Won-Jun is heartwarming. It's a story of resilience and finding solace in unexpected places. If you've ever felt the sting of betrayal, this one's a cathartic watch.

Daily Dose of Sunshine takes a deep dive into mental health with a side of romance. Park Bo-Young's portrayal of Jung Da-Eun is both poignant and endearing. The exploration of stigma, therapy, and recovery is handled with finesse. It's a refreshing take on a genre that often leans towards the dramatic. If you're up for a thoughtful exploration of mental health wrapped in a romantic package, this one's a hidden gem in the K-drama universe.

Oh wow, thanks for this list! I'm a sucker for medical dramas, so "Doctor Cha" is right up my alley. The plot sounds like a rollercoaster of emotions, and Uhm Jung-Hwa's performance must be stellar. I can't resist a good character-driven story, especially with a sprinkle of romance and comedy. I'm so ready to binge-watch this one and escape into the world of Cha Jeong-Suk's journey of self-discovery. Thanks for the heads-up on this gem!

"WELCOME TO SAMDAL-RI" sounds like a trip down memory lane. Childhood friends turned lovers, a small town, and the enduring power of true love—classic K-drama material. Ji Chang-Wook and Shin Hae-Sun's chemistry must be nostalgic and heartwarming. I'm ready for some good old-fashioned romance with a modern twist. Thanks for highlighting this gem amidst the plethora of new releases!

I love the first two trailers already, as I watch the rest. I love the romantic storyline I would love to see Reo and Jun. Doona is a love story and well is captivating to see the chemistry between the actors. I love how the subtitles are also in English as well.
