Yup. I remember the first time I played Final Fantasy VI and they had the magitech mechs walking through the snow, and if that was not cool enough that damn good music that played with it.

Secret of Mana was a great game! I often contemplate buying a SNES and hunting down all these old favorites.

Ah, yes...the intro gave it a big screen feel, too.

One of the most amazing areas in any RPG ever IMO was the 4 seasons forests in Secret of mana. It was so full of color, and it just drew you into the game. Pureland I loved how that looked, but damn that area was hard. Those claw monsters could do serious damage to you, and then you had to fight the dragons AND the mid boss's.

Yeah, I remember how much trouble I had there at first. I actually dug my SNES out if the closet and started playing the game again last night.
