Season 3 Trailer For【Oshi no Ko】Reveals Ending Theme

To be honest, I lost a lot of my enthusiasm after finishing the manga. I saw other fans say that by the end, the story felt like it spit in the face of what made the characters interesting. Aqua’s decisions in the final arc felt contradictory to his earlier motivations, and Ruby ended up walking a path that felt too similar to Ai. It’s hard for me to feel hopeful about the anime continuing when so many core themes didn’t land for me in the manga’s ending.

Yeah, I agree... I really tried to stay optimistic about Oshi no Ko’s story, but the manga’s finale broke me a little. Fans are criticizing Aka Akasaka for how fast things moved in the last chapters — it felt like too many big moments were crammed without proper build-up.

I just hope the anime doesn’t stick too closely to the manga. The ending there ruined my attachment to the story. Aqua’s actions stopped making sense, and Ruby’s shift felt rushed. If DOGA KOBO changes the pacing or rewrites a few scenes, it could fix what went wrong. I’d rather see an anime-original take that gives proper closure instead of repeating the same disappointment.
