As someone who loves welcoming newcomers into the tabletop RPG community, I've found that the right introductory system can make all the difference in igniting that passion for storytelling and roleplay. With so many options out there, I'm curious what everyone's favorite go-to systems are for bringing new players into the fold!
For me, I have a soft spot for *Dungeon World*. Its narrative-driven mechanics make it super accessible, while still offering enough flexibility for creativity. The focus on collaborative storytelling really helps new players feel like they're part of the action right from the start. Plus, who doesn't love a good ol' "You roll, we all roll?" moment to keep everyone engaged?
But I know there are plenty of other systems that shine in this regard! Is anyone a fan of *Fiasco* for its one-shot ease? Or maybe *Honey Heist* for its quirky charm? What's your go-to system for introducing fresh faces to the tabletop universe? Any favorite moments from your introductory sessions? Let's share our experiences and help each other make the new player experience unforgettable!
