Well visually Janperson is the one most clearly indebted to Robocop, discounting the fact that he's a light purple and vaguely adorable.

If any of the series that shares the most similarities to Robocop, it's the inspiration of Robocop's suit: Gavan. While its theme is outer space and not a cop beaten and shot to death, due to its noticeabl lighter Silver Age Marvel tone, Gavan himself is what Robocop would be like if it were on television in the 80's.
Other than that, Jiban runs second, though all I've ever seen of either show was the first episode and in the latter's case, only the opening.

I knew that Gavan was an influence on Robocop's suit design when I watched it, and even then the comparison didn't really jump out at me.
Gavan's the right color, and his helmet's right, but he's not a cyborg or robot at all. Plus he's reeeaally agile. More of a "lightning bruiser" than Robocop's "heavy, unstoppable juggernaut".
Janperson's not as slow as Robocop, but he's not jumping or running around all that much. And he does make a lot of "robot noises" when he moves and walks.
Jiban . . I've only seen one episode. His cyborg form's face isn't as "Robocop-like" as Gavan's or Janperson's, and the fact that he somehow has a human form is a conceptual step away from Robocop as well. But he is a cop, he is a cyborg, and he was explicitly made as a tokusatsu take on Robocop, so there you go.
But like kenSHIRO says, they're all cool.
So does anyone know the details of Gavan's influence on Robocop? Did Paul Verhoeven watch an episode of X-Or and say "Yes! That's it!"?
