Release Date For Squid Game Season 3 Revealed

There were entire years between the releases of Squid Game Seasons 1 and 2, but Season 3 won’t take nearly as long. Since the two follow-ups were filmed back to back, their release dates will only be six months apart. Netflix announced today Season 3 will come out June 27. The rapidity is s good thing, as anyone who has seen Season 2 can tell you it was more of half a season. It was shorter than Season 1, didn’t feature as many games and ended on a major cliffhanger. Not everyone felt satisfied, but answers are coming quickly. With the announcement, Netflix provided five new images from the show. They don’t reveal anything earth-shattering, but I guess we now know Gi-hun gets handcuffed to a bed at some point. Perhaps the nest game is Gerald’s Game. Keep your feet away from that dog, Gi-hun! Netflix also previewed a new clip from the upcoming season, but only to select members of the press. I'd also be intrigued by a prequel showing the creation of the island where the games take place – the construction, the planning, the chilling atmosphere building.
