Green Wild Force Ranger
Chapter 1: Film Force Premiere!
The town of Greenwood is a simple town in Massachusetts, which has two main attractions; its forest, which supplies the lumber for the whole town, and the theater, which acts as the center of the town economy. The theater started out as a Nickelodeon and has lasted for years and has spawned many film buffs. However, this theater is not the place of focus. The place of focus is a small abandoned community center, where the Greenwood Film Club, a group a five teenagers with different attitudes, would meet to watch and talk about films. The group had gathered, with two members bringing in a projector.
Carrying the projector's left side was the group leader, Cole Rufus. Cole is an African American with a love of action films with a strong eye for choreography. Today, he was wearing a red short-sleeve t-shirt and black jeans. Carrying the right-side was the bespectacled Nick Lee, a lover of special effects who holds King Kong as the absolute best movie. Today his attire was a green shirt with blue jeans.
Walking in behind them were; the comedy-loving Adrian Davis, wearing a blue shirt and jeans, the fledgling comic artist Mike Austin, wearing a yellow shirt and gray jeans, and the music fan Mina Harris, wearing a pink shirt and white short skirt. “So, what's tonight's film?” Cole asked, setting down the projector. “Well, I was thinking Hunchback of Notre Dame myself,” Mike said, pulling down the screen. “I had my eyes set on Chicago tonight,” Mina responded. The group started up another argument over which film to watch as creatures poured out of the projector screen, started as shadowy blobs before becoming human-shaped.
“Guys, guys!” Cole shouted, turning the group's attention to the monsters. “What are they?” Mike asked, saying what everyone thought. The monsters went after them, forcing them to defend themselves. Cole was normally a fencer, but had also taken karate lessons so he was able to take them on. Nick was primarily a wrestler, so he mostly stuck to grapples while Adrian fought with American boxing. Mike was trained in Tae Kwan Do in order to keep his hands from being damaged in fights while Mina used her gymnastics to pull off dodges and flips.
The monsters hit the floor, dissolving as the were beaten. The group sat down to collect themselves after the fight. A floating head appeared on the projector screen before them. “Greetings, humans. I am sure you want an explanation for the creatures who came before you.”
“Yeah, that and the giant head on our screen,” Cole said.
“Well, to begin, my name is Kane. I come to you from the world of Cinetopia, beyond the screen. We live in a world very different from Earth, created from the things you call movies. Those creatures were Snuffs, a race of beings created from nothingness that are under the command of Prometheus. Prometheus is an evil being who wants to escape from Cinetopia and conquer Earth.”
“Wait, escape from Cinetopia?” Nick asked.
“Yes, Cinetopia and Earth are mutually separated, but there are ways for beings from either side to enter, but they are not permanent. Prometheus wants to find a way to stay in Earth and conquer it for himself. But there is way for you to enter Cinetopia as well, if you wish.”
“There's a catch to this, isn't there?” Adrian asked.
“In a way, yes. You must become the Power Rangers Film Force.”
“Power Who? Film what?” Mike asked, confused.
“The Power Rangers Film Force are the Guardians of Cinetopia, defenders of the film world. By accepting this offer, you gain the Film Force morphers,” Kane started, rectangular devices appearing in the group's laps, their belts replaced with belts that have a slot in them. “These morphers will allow you to enter into Cinetopia through any screen. To use them, just call out your Ranger color and the phrase 'Film Force Morpher' or 'Film Force Morphers' when together. That is followed by 'Film Force. Roll Camera.' and insert them into the belts to complete the morph.”
“Whoa, this is a lot to swallow all at once,” Mina said.
“I wish I could explain this slower, but Prometheus and his forces may have figured out my plans and be preparing to counter attack.”

From within his castle, Prometheus approached his generals, screwing his neck-bolts in place. “Men! The ground troops have failed us! We will need another way to attack Earth,” Prometheus said to his three generals; Lycanthrus, a werewolf currently in his shirtless and scarred human form, Lilith, a black-haired and red-eyed vampiress, and Karas, a mummy who was wrapped in bandages save for his hands and head. “I believe I have drawn something that should be sufficient,” Karas started.
“Do tell, Karas.”
“It is an octopus monster, Lord Prometheus. It is not much, but it's more than any human can handle.”
“Yes! Make it so, then!”
Karas nodded, grabbing his staff as he tore off the page from his drawing book. “Anuket! Giver of life and Goddess of the Nile! Give this creature life!” Karas shouted. The staff glowed and shot a beam at the paper, turning the drawing in a fully-grown monster. Another beam sent the monster to Earth. The monster started to attack Greenwood.

“Rangers! A monster is attacking! You have to hurry and morph to fight it!” Kane said.
“Right! It's morphing time!” Cole responded. The group pointed the morphers to the screen, the morphers' front glowing their respective colors. “Film Force Morphers! Film Force, Roll Camera!” The Rangers slid the morphers into the belts. The morphers dispensed film reels as the Rangers' suits formed on their bodies. The reels attach to the suits, and the helmets join at the same time. The Rangers rush out to fight the octopus monster. The police were attempting to take the monster down, but were failing and getting thrown aside. Cole ran to his father, Captain Gordon Rufus, pulling him away from an attacking tentacle. “You guys need to retreat! This thing is out of your league! Don't worry, we've got this!”
“I've seen a lot on this job, but a bunch of weirdos in spandex fighting an octopus monster? That just tops it all. Alright, whoever you are, if your team can handle them, we'll fall back,” Gordon said. The captain ordered his men back while the Rangers attempted to fight the monster. However, they were all tossed aside until Kane sent a message to them from within their helmets.
“Rangers! Hold out your right hands in order to draw your weapons! You'll need them to destroy his tentacles!”
“Right!” Cole responded. The team held out their right hands; Cole gained a sword, Adrian gained a staff, Nick gained a blaster with Mike getting a bazooka, Mina gained a shield.
“Alright! Let's do it, guys!”
Cole charged at the monster while Nick and Mike fired at it. Mina used her shield as a boomerang weapon to weaken the monster. The monster gripped onto Adrian's staff. “Cole! I've got three! Take them out! Hurry!” Cole nodded, slicing the tentacles off. Mina managed to slice two off with her shield while Mike finished off the last three. Cole did the finishing strike, causing the monster to explode.
The group waited for the dust to settle, seeing the monster survived and started glowing and then grow larger. The monster vanished before it became giant sized. “Uh... is that supposed to happen?” Adrian asked. Kane appeared in their helmets once more. “Rangers! You have to head into Cinetopia! I've managed to send the monster back before it could cause further damage at giant size. You will need to destroy the monster in Cinetopia.”
“Alright Kane, but how are we supposed to fight a giant monster?” Cole asked.
“That will be revealed when you enter Cinetopia.”
The team ran back to their base, jumping through the projector screen into Cinetopia, seeing the giant octopus monster attacking. Suddenly, a group of giant robots shaped like animals, both real and mythical, started to attack the monster. “Whoa! What are those?” Nick asked.
“Those, Rangers, are the Film Force Zords. Each of you shall pilot the Zord corresponding to your Ranger color and combine them to form the Film Force Megazord.”
The Rangers jumped into their Zords; Cole gaining the Pegasus Zord, Mike gaining the Sphinx Zord, Adrian gaining the Seahorse Zord, Nick gaining the Lion Zord and Mina gaining the Peacock Zord. After a bit of attacking individually, the team worked combined their Zords. The Lion formed the legs, the Seahorse formed the lower torso, the Sphinx formed the upper torso and arms, the Pegasus formed the head and the Peacock formed the helmet. “Ready? Let's make some sushi, guys!” Cole shouted. The team worked together, piloting the Megazord to attack the monster, destroying its tentacles again.
“Alright, time to roll the red carpet!” Cole shouted as a band of red energy rolled out under the monster's feet, holding it down. The Megazord jumped onto the band, rolling down with the Film Force Megazord Saber in front, landing the finishing slice. The monster exploded again. “End scene!” The Rangers shouted in unison.
Back at Prometheus' castle, he watched in displeasure. “It seems that nuisance Kane has summoned a team to combat me. Very well. I await crushing them like ants.” Prometheus said before laughing maniacally.

The Rangers returned to their base, demorphing. “That was awesome!” Mike shouted.
“Hey Mike, wanna do that again? I've still got hearing in this ear,” Adrian retorted.
“Well done, Rangers, but your duty is not yet over. You must continue to fight for Cinetopia and Earth.”
“You got it, Kane. No matter what happens, we'll be here to help you,” Cole said.
“That is good to hear, Cole. I am proud to say I chose the right ones to be Rangers. May the power protect you."
