News: Villain Vayne Joins DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT as First Season Pass Character

Yeah, villains give another dimension to the game, or else there would be no fun if it all there were was good guys. The need to be beatable though, making them too hard to beat is always a concern.

The conflict that villains brings makes it more fun to play, there is no doubt about it because without them just as you pointed out, it would be one boring play that is filled with good guys or characters.

I don't recall in which FF version it was, but there was a twist when a villain started to act along with the good guys, so these plot changes make the whole game far more interesting.

Not that Vayne is a bad villain but if I'm being honest I was really hoping to see Caius again. I still can't get over Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns where he battles Lightning in Valhalla. Also the Way he brandishes his massive blade is just amazing.

That sounds pretty interesting, why not try finding out the particular series of the Final Fantasy game so that you can make it known to me, then maybe I would give it a trial.

The weapons Manipulation and fighting skills of some characters in FF games are quite amazing and insanely unbelievable. I can't be surprised more than enough with how Noctis uses his own weapon.

That was just generic info about villains and good guys, and it's pretty much applicable to all the FF games, that's what makes them more interesting for me.

Alright, now I understand where you are heading at with that assessment, it's all good with what we have on the part of villains and protagonist in the gaming franchise.

I have to concur with on this one, Caius Ballad was an intimidating opponent with his massive blade and powerful magic that can easily crush his foes. He would have made a way better antagonist than Vayne.

This is exactly the same argument I made to one of my friends who is also huge fan of the Final Fantasy games.
