News: Babylon's Fall Coming In 2019

if there's a studio name that brings instant respect these days, it's Platinum Games. Their trademark high-energy gameplay mixed with beautiful visuals have won them fans around the world. Now they're developing a game for Square, and it was announced this morning.

Babylon's Fall is the name, and Square hasn't revealed much about it yet...just look at how small their press release below is. But we have a good notion of what to expect from Platinum, and we're pretty hyped. Check out the trailer in the link.


LOS ANGELES (June 11, 2018) – At the company’s E3 showcase earlier today, SQUARE ENIX® revealed a brand-new, ground breaking project being developed in partnership with PlatinumGames Inc., titled BABYLON’S FALL™. It will release on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and STEAM® in 2019.

I checked the official trailer on the site. And it seems like the type of the gameplay isn't revealed yet. It seems like they are yet to go public with that. Youtube also seems to have not much on demo gameplay. I'd love to see how this mythology part comes out in the game.

Hi. The trailer was so super dramatic. I cannot wait for it to come on PC though. The trailer featured a collection of intense moments taken throught the Dark Ages. Little information was given about this game.

While watching the trailer, I was thinking “Well this is kinda neat.” Then after the reveal of the title and they announce the developer I thought “Oh, now I have to buy it.”

Platinum + Square Enix = INSTABUY, I do not even care if it's a tractor simulator.

I already love the historic mythical setting that they have on Babylon's Fall. I really enjoyed the knights battling those terrible demons using magic in the trailer. I just can't wait to see what this collaboration between Square Enix and Platinum Games has in store for us.

These two companies have collaborated before on a game and it was called Nier: Automata- I think this game called Babylon's Fall will be a cool game- and it will have some giant creature's battling it out with swords as well in it !

I hope it can run smoothly on an i5 with eight gigs of ram and a stock Intel HD graphic 620, but I highly doubt it. Nevertheless, if it doesn't work, I'll get it on the PS4. Can't wait!

I hope it will be as good or better than Nier:Automata. I've liked this game because of the atmosphere and the story. There are different endings and you'll have to play the game repeatedly to get those endings.

I am guessing it will. There wasn't much note on that in any of the youtube video that I have seen. I am guessing this is possible. So you should be fine with that spec.
