Finished episodes 18 and 19.

Ahames is a nice little shake up, and a real interesting story. She seems genuinely remorseful to me over trying to betray Bazoo. And I really like how Bazoo replied to Giluke's suggestion that he and Ahames work together was a flat out no because of what they pulled before.

Episode 19 was very ambitious with the anti gravity battle. It may have been a bit lackluster, visually, by today's standards in special effects, but for 1985, I think that looked very good.

And next episode Giluke comes to Earth!

I have an entirely irrational love for episode 19, because the whole episode is basically just Hiryuu and Nagisa going "You are the most amazing person in the entire world" at each other and I just eat that stuff up with a spoon.

Oh, and speaking of amazing, Ahames. She is A-ha-mazing. I say that without shame. Because she is.

Okay, so, nearly a year later, I have been able to pick this back up.

Giluke's first encounter on Earth was pretty impressive with how he was able to handle himself against Change Pegasus without much difficulty. Kind of proves exactly why he is the commander of the operation.

I think I would have rather this be a full team focus instead of focusing mostly on Change Pegasus, at least that way, there probably would have been less annoying Japanese children in it.
