Naruto Shippuden: Ulimate Ninja Storm Generations Character and Stage Select Screens

Saiyanisland has just posted shots of what appears to be a near-final version of the NUNSG character select screen, and a blurred image of the level select screen. At the moment, there are 85 characters in total, rows 9 and 10 are only support characters. Going by Saiyanisland's post, the characters in rows 9 and 10 are as follows:

And finally we have a rather blurry shot of the level select screen which from the looks of it, has 36 stages to choose from. Once again, this is most likely an unfinished version shown in the screenshot. Whether you're a Sakura or Sasuke lover, or maybe you love playing with Tobi, it really looks like CyberConnect2 has added somebody for everybody in this game.

Located above is the winner of a tournament, Uchiha-Kun, that was held during Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations‘ stop at Paris Manga versus CyberConnect2′s CEO, Hiroshi Matsuyama. Uchiha-Kun will be representing France in a Japanese tournament that will pit the champions of various countries head-to-head against eachother. Uchiha-Kun is playing Sasuke (Susanoo) while Matsuyama-San is using Sage Mode Naruto. I won’t spoil it for you, but the battle was quite exciting to watch.

A recent scan from Shonen Jump has just confirmed that Madara Uchiha will indeed be available, in playable form, in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations.

Previously, the only way Madara could be accessed was by entering Tobi's awakening mode, but this scan confirms that Madara, as a separate entity, can be used in Generations. There isn't any gameplay footage of Madara in action just yet, but we can propose that he will be a formidable foe if faced on the battlefield.

Now that we have confirmation of Madara's presence in the game, this makes me wonder something. What will his awakening be? Tobi has serious Madara as his awakening, so maybe this Madara would just get the speed, offense, and defense boost that most characters without transformations are limited to? Who knows, only time will tell as we approach the launch of CyberConnect2's next Naruto title.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will be released for the Xbox 360, and PS3 on March 13 in America and March 30 in Europe. A demo featuring three key battles from the Shippuden era of the series is currently available on the Japanese PSN. Don't know how to access the JPSN?
