Two ways they relate
A.) Kamen Rider J was directed by a guy who was very well known with Ultraman episodes.
B.) Pretty much everybody knows this but J is the first and oyyl Kamern Rider to have the ability to grow large...unless you coutn the episode of Sban's Masked Rider when he grew large to fight Fog Mother or whatever they claled her in the maerican version to rescue an alien who looked strangely enough like one of the Alien Rangers.
