Kite Man: Hell Yeah! Debuts July 18 On Max

We’re probably not getting Season Five of Harley Quinn this year, but we ARE getting a variant of it that has 90% less Harley and 95% more Kite Man. The buffoonish baddie was mostly absent from Season 4 last year, and now you know why: he was busy filming this! The last time we really saw Kite Man was in the Harley Quinn Problematic Valentine’s Day Special, where he revealed he had finally moved on from Poison Ivy and found the true love of his life, the stylish Golden Glider. Since then, they both got into the bar business and now run a watering hole for underappreciated henchmen and mooks to let off steam and down a few hops. We don’t know what the central plot of Kite Man’s show is beyond that, but it might have something to do with Darkseid, who’s shown up in screenshots and teasers and now this full trailer. KM has also opened his bar dangerously close to the Legion of Doom headquarters, and Doom

I stopped watching Harley Quinn the series when Ivy broke up with him to be with Harley. Glad he is given his own show. He is so likable! Heck yeah1

OMG! This is gonna be epic! Kite Man finally gets his own show, and barely any Harley? Sign me up! Been waiting ages to see more of him and Golden Glider, they're hilarious together. What? a whole show about Kite Man? I dunno...he's funny in small doses, but can he carry a whole series? Plus, no Harley? That's a bummer, she's the best part of that whole world. Still, might check it out, gotta see what all the fuss is about. Maybe Kite Man will surprise me.

Interesting! Lex Luthor vs. Kite Man in a bar fight? Now that's something I gotta see. Wonder what Darkseid's doing hanging around with a bunch of low-level goons? Maybe Kite Man accidentally stumbles into something bigger than he bargained for. This could be a fun, offbeat spin on the DC universe, definitely gonna give it a shot.

Finally, something to watch on Thursdays! Thursdays are usually dead at work, so this could be a good pick-me-up. Love that they're focusing on the lesser-known villains, it's refreshing to see a different side of the DC universe. Kite Man and Golden Glider running a bar for bad guys? Pure comedic gold. Plus, the cast is insane!

Ugh, Kite Man gets a show and Harley gets left out? Talk about a slap in the face! I mean, sure, Kite Man's grown on me a bit, but come on! Harley's the whole reason this world is so much fun. Still, gotta support my girl's ex, even if it means watching a show about a dude who fights crime with kites. Maybe Harley will make a surprise cameo?

A show about Kite Man? Seriously? What's next, a live-action Condiment King movie? I miss the days of good old-fashioned superhero shows. This whole ironic villain thing is getting old. Still, might give it a shot if I'm really bored. Just don't expect me to be impressed.
