Honestly, I wasn’t expecting Kenshiro at all. After seeing footballers and DJs in the game, I thought SNK was just going random, but now it makes sense. South Town is gritty enough that a character like him fits perfectly. The silent, unstoppable hero vibe is exactly what this game needs. I’m also impressed that SNK won Fighting Game of the Year. That shows they’re doing more than just cool crossovers—they’re actually delivering strong gameplay. I’m not usually into crossovers like this, but when it’s someone who influenced fighting games and anime as much as Kenshiro, it feels earned. I can imagine all the one-liners and finishing moves will be insane in multiplayer matches. I just hope they balance him so he doesn’t dominate too easily.
