Kemono Rider (Hidden for Sensitivity)

This is something that I've been thinking over for a long time - [HIDE]Kamen Riders as "furries", "Kemono" being the Japanese term for it.

I know that the concept of furries can be a touchy subject with most people, so I would have no problem with this thread being deleted because of that. But I am confident that most of you here are open-minded enough to at least read this if not reply.

Here are the main Heisei riders as furries, with the species I have portrayed them as.

Kuuga: Cougar

Agito: Lion

Ryuki: Red Fox

Faiz: White Wolf

Blade: Golden Retriever

Hibiki: Asiatic Black Bear

Kabuto: Cheetah

Den-O: Five-tailed Kitsune

Kiva: Raccoon

Decade: Chameleon

W: House Cats [/HIDE]

I don't see a problem with it, myself. I mean, SWAT Kats and Bucky O'Hare and other shows like those had anthropomorphic heroes, and that stretches back to the days of Warner Bros. and even before them, with old Japanese art and anthropomorphic characters in ancient legends. My one critique is I would take theme into account; Agito and Ryuki were both themed to Asian dragons, and Kiva is a vampire so wouldn't a bat be more appropriate than a racoon?

I decided that having some characters as a certain species would be too obvious.
