So you guys were curious about the Ryuki belt prop VS the CS belt. Well, it may not be Ryuki but how about Odin instead.
To begin here is the prop:
From what I gather this prop is a few generations down and probably a stunt show belt. It's pretty rough in places like the outer edges but is not bad for a stunt show belt vs. a hero belt. The casting is hollow inside and does allow for the deck to be removed as well as a card to be pulled from the deck. no electronic or anything but it is painted gold like Odin's is in the show.
Here are the decks:
As you can see the CS deck is slightly bigger, which is a slight surprise but then again with the prop being a few generations down shrinkage is an issue. The main difference between the two decks is that the left wing of the prop has no deck backing to it like the CS deck has and the accent wings at the top and bottom corners are slightly thicker. Another difference is the hinge on the prop going from top to bottom as opposed to the CS deck which is just short.
Here are the V-buckles:
Here you can tell the prop V-buckle is also just slightly smaller than the CS one. Again probably a generational casting issue. But it is still a fair casting none the less. The leather belt itself is much thicker on the prop V-buckle, which in my opinion looks so much nicer. Also the prop has some inward warping probably caused by poor casting on the part of the replicator.
Without decks:
Again very similar but slightly different. After looking at screen caps upon screen caps it seems as if they used a hero belt similar to the CS V-buckle for close-ups of inserting the decks and these props for further away shots. If I need to I can provide screen caps.

The biggest difference are the side ports:
The prop side ports are much bigger width-wise that the CS belt while the port itself is slightly smaller. Also the CS ports are cleaner and more detailed which would make sense if the CS is based off the working hero belt but I have no explanation for why the CS belts ports are so short. In screen caps you can see that these ports are much longer like the prop belt.

All in all it was a pretty interesting purchase. I expected the prop to be a little rough here and there considering it's not a 'hero' belt and I definitely like having the ability to display both versions of belts and it was a learning experience indeed.
Sadly, I won't be making castings of this particular belt because it would mean taking the whole thing apart and the prop is both glued together and painted so that would ruin parts of the belt that I don't want to repair.
BUT, I do have some deals in the works for an unfinished V-buckle that I would consider copying if I get permission and depending on if the the casting is cleaner/sharper than this one.
