Just Rewatched "Banshee" and The Storytelling Still Blows My Mind

Time for Time Force!
Binging "Banshee" again reminds me just how fearless it is with its storytelling. The blend of crime, revenge, and identity wrapped around that crazy premise of an ex-con taking on the identity of a sheriff is just brilliant. Every season builds tension so masterfully, especially with characters like Lucas Hood and Carrie Hopewell, who are both so deeply flawed yet somehow relatable. The way it plays with moral ambiguity and the consequences of past actions still hits hard. And don't get me started on the fight choreography, like, can we appreciate how insane those scenes are? What did you all think about the character arcs in the later seasons? Did anyone's transformation surprise you?

While I agree that "Banshee" is fearless with its storytelling, I found some of the character arcs in the later seasons not as satisfying as they could've been. For instance, I thought Carrie's transformation became a bit too predictable and lost some of that initial complexity that made her so compelling in earlier seasons. It felt like they leaned too heavily on the same drama tropes rather than pushing her character into new territory.
