OK, so not many of us here on Henshin Justice Unlimited are Irish, I'm not Irish and we used to have Aarowned/Masked Rider here but he's been gone for a LONG time and I wonder how he's doing now..
..but I'm sure some of us foreigners have our own favorite pieces of Irish pop culture and because the Canadian television and British television threads weren't doing too bad I thought I'd do a thread for Irish television.
My favorite piece of pop culture to come from Ireland would have to be Zig and Zag. I first saw them on MTV Europe while I was living in Germany. They were alien puppet type characters, and they were hilarious. Later we moved to England and I saw them on The Big Breakfast.

But long before MTV and The Big Breakfast, Zig and Zag appeared excusively on Irish Television as part of an Irish children's show called "The Den" on channel "RTE". Here's a clip of Zig and Zag's first appearance. Not quite the same Zig and Zag we all know and love..

In recent years, the creators of Zig and Zag did a show called Podge and Rodge. It was similar to Zig and Zag but it was strictly for adults and contained swearing. Take a look!!
