I'm a huge fan of mystery films and I'm looking to expand my horizons beyond the usual Hollywood offerings. Can anyone recommend some hidden gem foreign language films that feature compelling mysteries or suspenseful storylines? If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend checking out "The Invisible Man" from 2020, which has some impressive international adaptations. But if you're specifically looking for foreign language films, try "The Secret in Their Eyes" from Argentina. It's a brilliant blend of mystery and drama, with a storyline that really pulls you in. There's also "La cueva" from Spain, which offers a tense survival situation that unfolds into a pretty intense mystery.
