Help with choosing paint.

Hello, I'm looking to do some paint repair jobs for my toys, and I was wondering if I could get some help. Specifically I trying to match Bandai's gold paint, found on thing like the Gokaiger toys, and the metallic reds of the double driver and various Kabuto toys like the kunai gun. I want to find something by Tamiya if possible, but any options would be better than none.

Edit: also, what is a good paint to use for the safety rubber on role-play weapons?

It's a little tough to have an exact match and STILL have the paintjob durable enough. Both Tamiya and Bandai have paint markers that use lacquer paint--which usually stick well to metal and most tougher plastics. You can use enamel or acrylic bottle paints as well--just note that enamel is better for gloss but flakes off easily in hot humid weather, while acrylic (usually water-based) will require more coats but is usually more durable.

I used to use a combination of Gundam Marker (base coat) and Citadel acrylics when I used to make custom G.I. Joe figures.

WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT use car or house paints, at least no without checking the type of plastic you have on your toy and whether it will melt or not.
