The ladies are almost here! Game Done Quick’s spinoff event Flame Fatales (in the winter it’s called Frost Fatales) will return starting this Sunday for another weeklong marathon of game breaking and record busting. Unlike the regular event, Fatales consists of exclusively female gamers. The Fatales events aren’t as gargantuan as the main GDQ events are — they do not run 24 hours, signing off at around 9 Pacific each night, and they are streamed remotely instead of hosted from a hotel ballroom. But they’re still just as fun to watch and they’re just as important. Falme Fatales benefits the […]

It's awesome to see Flame Fatales supporting the Malala Fund. Education is so important, especially for girls. I hope the Malala Fund can focus on helping Afghan girls right now. With the Taliban taking away their right to go to school, online education could be a lifeline for them. It's heartbreaking to think about how many young women are missing out on their chance to learn and grow.

This lineup is fire! I'm stoked to see some serious skill on display. Bayonetta 3 and Neon White? Those games are no joke. I can't wait to see how fast these players can blaze through them. And that Pokemon Snap speedrun? That's gonna be weird, but I'm intrigued.

Speedruns? Again? I mean, it's cool that people are good at games and all, but do we really need to watch people play them super fast? I don't get the appeal. But hey, maybe I'll give it a shot.

I'm really happy to see some indie games getting some love with Arzette, Born of Bread, and Broken Age. It's cool that Flame Fatales is showcasing a variety of games. And VVVVVV? That's a hardcore platformer. I'm curious to see how someone can speedrun that.

Oh, dude, this is awesome! Flame Fatales is back? That's so cool! I love watching these speedruns. It's crazy how fast these people can finish games. I'm really excited to see how they tackle Horizon: Forbidden West and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. And can we talk about that Donkey Kong 64 Randomizer? That sounds wild. Definitely tuning in.

This Flame Fatales lineup is straight fire! I'm hyped to see some serious skill on display. That Horizon: Forbidden West speedrun is gonna be insane. I wonder what kind of glitches and tricks they'll use. Also, I'm curious to see how they tackle the Stray world in record time. Defs tuning in
