filming schedule

Recently I've been reading different things on how tokusatsu, at least Sentai and Rider is filmed. Some people say that Den-O and Gekiranger are already done filming while others say it won't be done until the fall/winter months. Anyone know which it is?

For Boukenger at least Sentai was only a few weeks ahead of itself. IIRC, the actors were talking about filming the last episodes in January.

I get the impression that filming & post-production is done one or two months before the air date...

I seriously doubt that they're finished filming -- production for a new series begins around November or so, while (I believe) there's still post-production and things like looping to be finished with the previous show.

I'm sure Toei is already planning the next installment(s) of sentai and Rider, but even so it's probably something that will change drastically by the time they go into production.
