[Figure Mod] Paint/Primer for figs

All Decade's Fault
Anyone have experience using prime and paints for action figures with flexible 'coat/cloak parts? I'm trying to mod a Doctor Who "Hawthorne" figure into a KR:DCD Narutaki, but the Enamel and Lacquer paints I use for my Gunpla and other figures might not work on the type of plastic I have for this fig.

...any suggestions?

Interesting, I was also thinking the same about making my own custom figs but my idea is a bit more complex and time consuming. How about disassemble the figure as much as you can and cast it then prime and paint. Never really tried it but have always wanted when I have the money. Maybe you could experiment with this.

I use Krylon for my Gunpla, Krylon has really good primer! Cheap too.
