Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift trailer

It's funny how the main character doesn't even know how to drift or know what it is, yet he's the hero of this movie. Drifting is a really difficult driving skill to master, it can take years, even Keiichi "Drift King" Tsuchiya isn't completely perfect at it, although he's freakin amazing at it.

I love you! You know who Keiichi Tsuchiya is!!! Not many people know who Dorikin is unless they know street racing and/or racing.

I know what you mean about the main character not knowing what drifting is. You would think that the main character of a movie, based on illegal street racing where you need to know the styles, would know what drifting is since it's been around for over 30 years!

dude, all of the fast and the furious movies are bloody rediculous. that "new style of racing." line is pretty funny though. Way to pander to the ignorant hollywood.

Heh -- What's scarier is that whole new breed of wanna-be racers will be attempting to drift. I can't wait for the wanna-be racers in my area start crashing left and right.

The public thinks drag racing is the end-all point to racing, which involves a lot less technique than drifting. This movie is gonna be a real disgrace to the racing community, insulting some of its most skilled drivers with its "any idiot can drift" mentality. Also the fact the film takes place in the country that has some of the most skilled drifters in the world, it's really kicking the mud in their faces.

My friend Al is gonna flip when he sees this trailer he's the biggest drifting fan I know, he owns many Best Motoring DVDs which usually feature Tsuchiya.

We'll soon be seeing a lot less guardrails or more severely damaged ones.

Speaking of Tsuchiya. Did you know that the main villain of the game is called, D.K. - Drift King? Talk about insulting since you know that the hero of the story will have to beat him.

LOL -- From official site:

On his first time out drifting, Sean unknowingly takes on D.K., the "Drift King," a local champ with ties to the Japanese crime machine Yakuza. Sean's loss comes at a high price tag when he's forced to work off the debt under the thumb of ex-pat, Han (Kang). Han soon welcomes Sean into this family of misfits and introduces him to the real principles of drifting. But when Sean falls for D.K.'s girlfriend, Neela (newcomer Kelley), an explosive series of events is set into motion, climaxing with an ultimate high stakes face off.
