Before Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama’s passing, he contributed to one last DB series: Dragon Ball Daima, about to be released globally next month. The English dub of it, however, won’t be ready in time — no simulcast for you. But here’s how Crunchyroll will make up for it….the first three dubbed episodes of Dragon Ball Daima will premiere theatrically. The announcement was made today alongside the release of the English dub trailer, which is identical to the original Japanese trailer. Both of them start off with a shot of outer space, where we hear someone chanting a magic spell. That’s followed by an explosion, and then Goku and his friends find that they’ve become kids again. Toei Animation has been hiding specific details about this plot or why what just happened actually happened.
