From the new DWM.

Series 7b doesn't start until April.

(So both halves manage to miss screening on those "dark winter nights" that Moffat claimed the delay was to allow the series to move to. And his "more Who than ever" actually turned out to be "one series in two years".)

The Anniversary Special (singular) doesn't shoot until (again) April.

(Anyone who was still holding out for any of Series 8 next year should really give up now.)

Now we have this schedule from the UK Toy Fair:

As expected we get:

-One special
-One tv movie documenting the start of the series in 1963 written by Mark Gatiss

Well, and BBC America's also gonna be playing 1 serial from each Doctor, one per month, starting this weekend (The Aztecs, First Doctor), until the Anniversary.

Gaaahhhh....I want to watch to give ad revenue and show support....but I went on a Dr. Who binge early last year watching all the episodes from 1, 2, 5, and 7 that I never got around to before....kinda hard to rewatch serials I've seen so recently.

Guys and gals, all of this talk of the 50th anniversary going ons really belongs more in the general talk up thread and not in the one dealing with a particular episode, especially since future episodes will get their own threads when they air.

gah! I thought all day that I had posted in the "talk up" thread but instead I posted in the "Snowmen" thread

Two threads is confusing.

yeah I'm just going to unstick this to avoid any future confusion.
