Dislikes on Youtube , RIP

Dislikes had been helpful for me to know if a video is a clickbait because clickbait videos always get dislikes. Well, Youtube decided to remove another staple feature. They claim that it’s their way to protect small channels from getting bullied. I bet it’s more like big corporations don’t like it when people hate on the content they make. Last Year Youtube removed community captions which killed off the chances of some creators to have a fan base outside the language they speak. Community Captions are very useful to deaf people who watch videos. These actions of Youtube are so unnecessary and no one asked for them.
 


I believe making it optional and giving creators a choice is the better option, but they made it mandatory. Youtube said making dislike Invisible gives people the voice… This is not a good reason because it’s the opposite of what they said.
