Really, the only way I can see this as being a pokemon rip off, is probably because of the monsters, and how the battle plays out:disappoin Especially secnce its ALOT harder to get most Digimon, as there requirements needed to be filled out.
I liked the game though. Definitly brought back some memories though I felt that it took too long to evolve your Digimon plus it was too much of a nusence trying to get 100% Scan data for a specific one you want. I also felt the story to be a bit too childish, and a bit silly at times(Example would be any time when you talk to a digimon on the farm. They make bad-assed Digimon sound like wimps like Miyotismon) although I do like the light-hearted tone of it.
