The trends in player demographics and online platforms remind me of the rise in popularity for virtual tabletops like Roll20 and Foundry over the past few years. When my group transitioned to playing online during the pandemic, I was amazed at how much easier it was to connect with players from different parts of the country, and even the world! We ended up running a long campaign in Pathfinder 2e that we might never have done otherwise. It's wild how technology has expanded our gaming communities and made it easier to share stories, especially with tools like dynamic maps and integrated character sheets. I can't wait to see how these evolving trends continue to shape the gaming landscape!
