The only ads I ever see to the right are about Jay-Z, IMVU w/a 3D Sailor Moon, and HLJ in the sponsor area.

Demonoid's been down before for extended periods of times. Sadly, it's usually for legal reasons, so, it may be the case again, though I definitely hope not. But, just had to be mentioned.

And before anyone asks, no, there's probably nothing we can do about it to help.

IMO it doesn't really matter of you bought them. You are still pirating their work. You are helping seed to people that did not buy their work. If you bought them and decided not to open them that's your own problem.

Nope I take donations to get to the downloads section. It helps buy more stuff to encode. We also have a regular section. If anything I encode ever became licensed in the US for a domestic release I would take it down, and promote the purchase of it.

To each their own. You do things your way, and I will do them mine. I mean who the hell am I to dictate who buys and does not buy this or that. What ever makes you happy.
