Happy 4th! Crunchyroll has revised its summer schedule to pack in even more premieres and returning shows. Though you might have seen some of these trailers already, there have been over a dozen new ones added. Fans of the video game Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin will be interested to know an anime based on the game is premiering July 6. It uses the same plot as the game: the daughter of the gods is sent to Earth to farm and fight demons because her parents feel she’s grown too lazy. A few of the shows mentioned early in the schedule have already premiered: My Wife Has No Emotion started last Saturday and is about a guy who buys a robo-maid to clean his house, and then falls for her. We have to wonder if this scenario will become real in a few years. Other additions include Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, The Elusive Samurai, My Deer Friend Nokotan and more. I’m super excited about the upcoming Crunchyroll summer lineup! 'Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin' caught my attention immediately since I loved the video game. The blend of farming and fighting demons sounds like it will be a unique and engaging storyline. Plus, 'Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest' is a must-watch for me; I’ve been following the series for years and can’t wait to see what new adventures the guild embarks on. Overall, Crunchyroll’s summer schedule seems packed with great content, and I can’t wait to dive in!

I’m not a hardcore anime fan, but some of these new shows look interesting. 'My Wife Has No Emotion' sounds like a unique twist on the usual romance stories—falling for a robot maid is definitely something different. 'Red Cat Ramen' also seems quirky and fun, especially with the idea of a restaurant run by cats. I’ll probably check out a few of these shows to see if they catch my interest
