I found this snooping around the Japanese Wikipedia page for Shinkenger:

the red ones are huge-ass cameras and costly as well! saw a few in a equipment rental shop last year.

This is pretty interesing. Having worked in the tv industry, I know my way around, but I had no idea they were using Red's to shoot with.

Guess they decided to up the production with the..er, tone of Shinkenger. I always found it interesting that this was the first season to not dub their stuff in. Has Goseiger continued that?
