I've recently gotten into roguelikes and I'm really enjoying the genre's unpredictability. I've played Hades and Dead Cells, but I'm curious about games that have unique themes or mechanics that set them apart. What are some standout roguelikes that you think have creative twists on the genre? Would love to hear your recommendations!

Rogue Legacy is a standout for its unique mechanic where each descendant you play has different traits, making every run feel distinct. That said, I found the randomness of traits can sometimes lead to frustrating runs, especially when they're not well-suited for a particular area. Have you tried it, or do you prefer games that keep consistency in their mechanics?
