I've always been fascinated by practical effects in films, especially when it comes to creating memorable monsters. Films like "The Thing" and "An American Werewolf in London" have some incredible examples, but I'm curious about other movies that really nailed it. While "The Thing" and "An American Werewolf in London" are iconic, I feel like a lot of people overlook the incredible practical effects in "The Fly." Jeff Goldblum's transformation is haunting and the makeup work is some of the best, showcasing the grotesque side of practical effects. Have you seen any other films where the creature effects really push the envelope, like "Society"?
