Best games for exploring without a heavy focus on combat?

I'm looking for games that allow for exploration and discovery, but don't require constant combat or fighting. I really enjoy atmospheric worlds and narratives but get overwhelmed by games that throw a lot of battles at you. What are some titles that offer a great experience without focusing heavily on fighting mechanics?

Consider giving Firewatch a try. Its beautifully crafted environment invites exploration, and the focus on narrative and character development provides a captivating experience without the need for combat. The way the story unfolds through your interactions and the atmospheric setting really pulls you in.

Another excellent choice is Journey. It's a short but profound experience that emphasizes exploration and connection with other players rather than combat. The stunning visuals and sound design create an emotional journey that sticks with you long after playing.

What kind of atmosphere are you looking for specifically? Something more melancholic, like What Remains of Edith Finch, or perhaps something lighter?
