oh.. i havent been following PR since WF sucked, and then i watched a bit of Ninjastorm.. other than that, no more PR..

i've moved on to sentai :laugh:

The first episode of Kuuga is still my favorite of the last few shows, but the Agito & Blade ones are pretty cool too.

The first episode of Ultraman Tiga is also one of my favorites. And Goranger had a pretty cool opening, with tons of senseless destruction in the first few minutes!

And of course the very first episode of Kamen Rider is a classic! :thumbs:

Hurricanger first episode was pretty good. I like how the Ninja School gets wiped out and how the 7 Dark Spears present themselves at the end.

BTW, the sign language for "I love you" and the "horns" is similar, but different. The first one has the thumb extended out, the last one has it in over the fingers.

Then definatley check out some more Megaranger it's pretty good.

i will, once TV Nihon gets more eps up.. but i'm trying to get all Dekaranger first, and of course Magiranger...

and Hurricanger too

Speaking of Megaranger's first episode, back in '97 I LOVED Megaranger and thought that its first episode was a pretty good episode. I recently rewatched it -- and some other Megaranger episodes -- and was bored to tears. I guess Megaranger didn't age too well...I always thought the second half got boring when it became a mecha marathon, but I always liked those earlier episodes until I watched them again recently.

For some reason I wasn't too bothered about heroes being chosen from a video game at that time, but now it sounds sort of...dumb.

I've completed over 50 video games! Where's MY changer?!

Just saw Blade and Nexus eps 1...(and Ultimate Girls and God Mars eps 1...I'm on an ep 1 kick today I guess) -- I loved both, but in some ways, Blade and Faiz balance out. I was actually able to keep track of what was going on in Faiz a little better, even though Blade's was revved up a lot higher; Kenzaki's drama was pretty good, but IMO Yuji's felt more drastic (but then, I tend to like Yuji's actor).

Nexus ep 1 was very interesting as a story and etc. setup; lot of fun watching the latest paramilitary team go running about, and great ep, but it didn't make it to being on my Yay Best First Ep Evarrrr list. GranSazer is at about the same level.
