If this is just a storyline in the T-bolts series that is one thing, but if this is a crossover that things must be looking bad for the T-bolts. I mean this could be the third straight crossover or tie-in since the revamp, which isn't a good sign for the book's long term prospects. Personally I think the team is the problem it is this random hodge-podge of villains and Man-Thing that may grab your attention but can't hold it. Plus I have to question making Luke Cage the star of the book, he really isn't a character that sells books. I seriously doubt the reason that people buy New Avengers is because Luke Cage is the leader, could be wrong though. Anyway I wouldn't be shocked if T-bolts gets another revamp in the coming months but this time with the more traditional cast, and hopefully without that horrible redesign of Songbird (that killed a lot of interest I had).

The book isn't that bad, really. It's kept me interested so far. Although I'm not exactly a fan of the current artist.

And yes, the revamp of Songbird is shiver-inducing.

I am wondering if Jeff Parker got to choose the team or if he was given it. Since let's be honest Crossbones is a waste of a spot, he will never be redeemed and having a neo-Nazi in any type of staring role just seems sleazy. And the Juggernaut is well a total mess these days, after years of redemption and making peace with Charles he is suddenly evil again after a hasty editorial mandate. In fact despite trying to pay lip service to the whole redemption angle none of these guys make it seem possible. I am starting to think Warren Ellis' idea of lets make the T-bolts full of A-list villains is going be seen as what killed the book in the long run.
