Are Video Game Adaptations Finally Getting It Right?

With the rise of shows like "The Last of Us" and "Arcane," I can't help but wonder if we're finally seeing video game adaptations hit their stride. I mean, for years, they’ve mostly been a tough sell, painfully awkward films that never seem to capture the heart of the games we love. But these recent projects have shown that there’s a way to translate gameplay narratives into compelling TV and film.

What do you guys think? Are you optimistic about future adaptations? Do you have any favorites that stand out to you? And what games do you think deserve a shot at their own series or film? I'm curious about all your thoughts, whether it's a beloved classic or the latest blockbuster release!

Fallout is the only good video game adaptation I have seen in my life. Most of the video game adaptations are trash, especially if they are live-action.
